Boscombe Easter Convention – Good Friday & Silent Saturday

This is a wonderful experience in the Lord.

The two Good Friday meetings were a blessing to attend. The choice and presentation of the music was inspired as was the organization of the program. Already, it feels like we’re with family, enjoying a very special Easter weekend.

Now Saturday night began the participation of the Hendon Band, led by Bandmaster Stephen Cobb. I don’t know how long they have been preparing for this concert, but the music was simply excellent. Soloists were featured on the cornet, Euphonium, Flugelhorn, Trombone and Piano. All expertly given. The hall was full and the night most successful in praising God.

Tomorrow is Easter. Hallelujah!

Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
