Let’s have a party.
Christmas parties are a great place to start. They don’t have to be expensive or laden with presents. A simple get together and an appreciation expressed for each other is all you need.
Our THQ Christmas party was held today where we just had a good time together. The Christmas story was told, carols were sung, a Christmas devotional was offered and we got out of work early on a Friday afternoon. Why not?
We value our employees and staff. I wish we could do more. If we could, I’d add it to their paychecks where appreciation is directly understood. At the moment we’re looking on how reduce the cost of insurance for employee families. In spite of the confusion in the industry just now, we still look for ways to improve the situation for our valued employees.
I see that God enjoys our celebrations. He made us to enjoy ourselves. Hallelujah!
John 10:6-10 “Jesus told this simple story, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” (MSG)
