In many places, December 26th is Boxing Day. I’m sure I knew why once upon a time, but as no one has mentioned it in my family today, it’s irrelevant to me. For others, It means Christmas is over.
I ask you to move forward thirty three years from the birth of Jesus to recall why He was born. He was born to make a way for our salvation. That happened on a cross on Golgotha. Three days later Jesus rose triumphantly over death and the grave. Because He lives, Christmas will never be over. Hallelujah.
I’m blessed to recognize that in the USA Western Territory this week, 1207 people came to faith. They know about the never ending Christmas now, because they know the Savior. Thank you, Lord.
Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.” Luke 2:28-32 NIV
