Thanksgiving is a bad day for turkeys, it seems. Even though the bird gets a lot of attention; is worthy of a fair price; is given a full body rub; and served by the best families in society, it doesn’t end well for the turkey.
Perhaps we can focus on something else, like, giving thanks to God. Our reasons are plentiful and our gratitude measurable. Every day should be filled with thanks.
We can give thanks for the turkey and for all God has given us. Only turkeys don’t give thanks.
God loves it when the giver delights in the giving. 2 Corinthians 9:6
