Salvation Army crowds will recognize these initials as representing Future Officers’ Fellowship. As a Divisional Youth Secretary, we met with an FOF group that turned out to be Former Officers’ Fellowship. That was a surprise.

The FOF group in the USA Western Territory is meeting this weekend at the College for Officer Training. Over 180 such persons are there to seek God’s will for their lives. The Keynote meeting tonight was crowned with many seeking God’s will at the mercy seat. Hallelujah!

Please be in prayer for these people throughout the weekend.

Should you be here?

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25  For whoever wants to save his lifeh will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

Thank you for your willingness to interact with the Former Officers. I believe there is something to be gained from this. I have been involved with the FSAOF USA until moving to Florida and I have been a member, until recently, of the International FSAOF. Leaders in other Territories are reluctant to even acknowledge our existence. In part, I understand their hesitancy given that Leadership in years
past has had some unpleasant experiences with the Formers. However, there must be a way to incorporate them into Army life and to encourage them in the faith so that the Kingdom, the Army and the Formers benefit mutually. Thanks, Jim, for leading the way! .
