Get help!

“If you want it done right, do it yourself.” WRONG! While it’s the theme of a micro-manager, it’s rarely the best way.

In an increasingly complex world and culture, we simply need help. It’s not a bad thing.

Not well? Get help and see a doctor.

Depressed? Get help and visit a counselor.

Fall down and hurt yourself? Get help by someone available.

You get the point. Truthfully, if you’re willing to get help in your work, mission or objectives, you’ll be further ahead at the end of the day. I’ve learned that at most non-profits, they have such a thin team, they can ill afford to take on more commitments or obligations. They just need help.

Want to live your life to the full? Gat help from God. He’s with you now, just waiting for you to ask for help.

He gathered all the high priests and religion scholars in the city together and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?” They told him, “Bethlehem, Judah territory. The prophet Micah wrote it plainly: It’s you, Bethlehem, in Judah’s land, no longer bringing up the rear. From you will come the leader who will shepherd-rule my people, my Israel.” Matthew 2:4-6 MSG
