I love going to the Army. The meeting today included a great sermon (not by me), cornet duet, Senior Soldier Enrollment, Senior Songsters, Piano Offertory, and more. After the meeting, we have a fellowship time where light refreshments are offered and fellowship is enjoyed. We then hooked up with some friends to have lunch together. It was all most pleasant.
This is really our experience each week, no matter which Army we go to. The similarities are in the area of love, encouragement, friendship, and interest. These are all indicators of the fellowship of Jesus. I’m grateful.
If you go to the Army, good for you. If not, try it on for size. You’ll be blessed.
“I saw Holy Jerusalem, new-created, descending resplendent out of Heaven, as ready for God as a bride for her husband. I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: “Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women! They’re his people, he’s their God. He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone.” The Enthroned continued, “Look! I’m making everything new. Write it all down—each word dependable and accurate.” Revelation 21: 2-4 MSG
