Having enjoyed the visit of a few friends over a few days has been a tonic. It’s a blessing to have the time these days to have extended conversations, meaningful and meaningless, to laugh, pray, and ponder.
Good friends are a gift from God. Not to be taken lightly nor insignificantly. One doesn’t need to be particularly guarded, but can simply have a laugh about things funny and serious.
For us, this season of our life will accentuate that reality as we take time this week with more friends and share memorable moments that facilitate peace, satisfaction, and contentment.
A luxury? I suppose so. Just one we plan to value as much as we can.
New daily habit: touch base with a good friend and have an experience.
