Around the country we still see the black military flags that reveal that some of our veterans are still missing in action from Viet Nam. When we see the banners, we say a prayer for the family, still in pain.
Imagine if we began to raise such flags for those who are missing in action from church and worship of God. Regrettably, we’d need a budget infusion to support the cause, but why not say a prayer for them anyway?
The best leaders in the house are those who are leading others to get to church and to share in Christian fellowship. Music inferior? Sermons lacking? People don’t get along with you there? Only excuses. We go to worship God and share His love with others. Truly, we go to give, not simply receive. Although, when I go to give, I always receive.
“Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.” Hebrews 10:25 CEV
