In this part of the world, new officers have been commissioned in The Salvation Army. It’s a great celebration and a credit to the Lord. For the uniformed, this means that hundreds of people have stepped forward to serve God in many places around the world and in many circumstances.
Should there be more?
Actually, I have a conviction that every corps should produce at least one candidate every year. In the mission of the corps ministries, we should be attracting new people with a heart for serving God. Is a corps to small to do this? What about the larger corps? Might they inspire more than one?
At least begin to think about it…then pray…then act.
God will bless you.
