Salvation Army invented the Flash Mob…

Freedom Congress 3

Here’s one for the history books…

As I see it The Salvation Army invented the flash mob. A new invention? Hardly

When? About 150 years ago.

Where? London England and around the world.

What kind? Vocal singing, instrumental music.

Effectiveness? Eternal results.

Size? Anywhere from 5 to 105.

Specific Location? Busy street corners.

Get it? We call it the Open-Air…the first flash mob.

All the rest are imitators.

“God didn’t set us up for an angry rejection but for salvation by our Master, Jesus Christ. He died for us, a death that triggered life. Whether we’re awake with the living or asleep with the dead, we’re alive with him! So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 MSG

A powerful invention that we need to continue in the 21st Century. Here’s a form of open-air that has been tweaked a bit for the 21st Century — a mobile open-air: Prayer walking with the Blood & Fire Battle Flag! https://www.facebook.com/TheSalvationArmyFlag?ref=hl
