The time has arrived for the Sochi Winter Olympics. Ready or not here we go.
In many ways it’s a moment in which we can all take a deep breath on global conflicts and politics and just enjoy the competitive grace that accompanies the Olympics. We will hear stories of triumph and disappointment. We will observe the best athletes in the world, some from our past recollections and others who were just children at the last games.
You can cheer or barrack for your favorite team and even keep an account of how your country does compared to others in the world. I wish you well.
God has made humankind magnificently…and we are showing our stuff in amazing ways in Sochi.
“Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10 NIV
