Too much imagination?

Is it possible to have too much imagination for God?

There are things we hope for that are out there. You know, healing for our cancer stricken loved one? How about a hope to buy a house or get a job? Marriage reconciliation? Vacation? Academic pursuits? Pay increase?

Are these beyond God?

Did Noah have hopes for a larger boat?

Did Daniel expect to cuddle the lions?

Did David think one rock would do?

You simply cannot out imagine God or expect things greater than His capacity. So, take what’s on your mind and then let God take it to another level.

I imagine that we can be a part of winning the world for Jesus. I wonder what God is thinking about this? Probably that it begins with me…then you…and you…and you…

“So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.” Colossians 3:13 MSG

Expecting great things is part of the gift of Pentecost — dreams and visions! We all need passionate dreams and visions from God. Mine is to be a part of a world-wide movement of God that will turn millions of people into passionate, committed, holy, obedient, and life-long Christ-followers who are so contagious with Jesus that they each bring multitudes to Him.
