Some days are marked by the unexpected changes that come our way. I’m a believer in maintaining margins in life so that we can manage through these changes and make the best of them. Here’s where we hold onto Psalm 1:6 “For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous” and trust that these changes have a place in the plan of God.
In the long run, one should expect these changes, like planning an outdoor event, but having an option in case of rain. We could exhaust ourselves in covering all the contingencies in life, but there are certain areas we should keep in mind.
What unexpected changes will take place in this season of life I don’t know. I do know that we can trust God through them. Anxiety over things we cannot control is mitigated by the grace of God. Let His love immerse you in hope, constructive possibility, and holiness. Enjoy the changes…
Psalm 4:1 “Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.”
